Creating the Right Impression with Front Doors and Patio Doors08/03/2016
We are sometimes asked what are the ‘et cetera’ that feature in our company name. We don’t just offer conservatories; we also sell and install orangeries, windows and doors. A couple of weeks ago, we gave you the full lowdown on bi-folding doors, a popular choice for conservatories. However, we can also supply and fit front doors, patio doors, sliding doors and french doors. Not sure which you need? Read on…
The first part of your home that a guest encounters is your front door. A first-time guest will probably examine it pretty closely looking for a doorbell or knocker. Your front door marks the threshold of your home; what do you want it to say about you? You want your front door to be secure, and it must also look secure if it is to deter a chancing burglar. You also want your front door to be thermally efficient to keep out draughts. We have the answer: we supply and install modern composite doors with multi-point locking systems, all available in a variety of colours to make your front door an attractive focal point.
When it comes to accessing your patio, the traditional choice is between French doors and sliding doors. Both types are typically made to measure to fit your property exactly and both allow you to enjoy the light and sights of your garden all year round. Sliding doors usually have one fixed and one sliding panel. French doors are hinged and traditionally open outwards (although this is up to you, if you want them to open inwards we can sort that for you!) Like all of our doors, both types are double glazed, feature secure locking systems and are available in a wide variety of coloured frames to suit any property.
