Easter Family Fun in your Conservatory

11/04/2017

Easter is a time of year when family can gather together. The kids are off school and quite a few of the adults will be taking advantage of a deliciously long four-day bank holiday. Four days means there’s time to hang out with friends and family and catch up on that DIY project you’ve been putting off. Having a conservatory to spill into means there’s more than enough room for everyone.

A conservatory at Easter

Sunday Roast

Easter Sunday is the perfect day to invite everyone over and a good excuse to do a big roast. A whole leg or shoulder of lamb smothered in rosemary and garlic should fit the bill. You could set up your dining table in the conservatory and have a beautiful view of the newly blooming daffodils in the garden while you eat.

Easter Egg Hunt

Make the kids burn off some calories before they gorge themselves on chocolate eggs. Set them an Easter Egg Hunt challenge. Hide clues around the garden. The children must follow the trail to find their eggs. The adults can keep an eye on them from the comfort of the conservatory.

Egg and Spoon Race

The classic Easter-themed sports day fun event. Can anyone make it to the back fence and back without dropping their egg? You’d think this one was just for the kids, but someone always wants to prove that they can do it and before you know all the competitive dads are having a go. Judges can stay in the warm and judge from the conservatory window. Pro Tip: use Cadbury’s Creme eggs.

If you are in the market for a conservatory to expand the space you can use for having fun at Easter or any other big occasion, then your starting point is Conservatories Etc.
